mission of ItzHair Wellness
is to enhance the well being of the licensed
professional and students in the hair care industry.
To accomplish this mission, ItzHair
will provide a range of services and programs to meet
their needs
ItzHair
Wellness
is a direct response to needs expressed by licensed
professionals. The central issue was access to
affordable and portable health care coverage. For decades,
the need for real insurance verses limited coverage
has been a significant challenge. To address this issue,
ItzHair
partnered with Hilb Rogal &
Hobbs (HRH)  the
7th largest publicly traded (on the New York Stock Exchange)
insurance broker in the United States. Through
this alliance, ItzHair
is able to offer major medical,
limited liability, dental, maternity, prescription drug,
and vision insurance benefits.
The
next major item of concern expressed by licensed professionals
was retirement, and how to prepare
for it. You told us that you wanted something
that would be there when you can no longer work from
behind the chair. Through the same broker affiliation,
we have been able to address this as well. The available
options will allow you as a sole proprietor to have
the type of offerings most people receive from corporate
plans. Again, these options will be there for you, the
ItzHair Community
members, with individualized and
customized retirement planning.
ItzHair
Wellness’ mission to educate can
only be done through ‘teaching’. We are
committed to teaching the industry professionals proper
business practices and the importance of maintaining
wealth. Therefore, we have designed
a series of workshops to be facilitated at conferences,
shows, schools, and other events. These workshops can
also be given upon request to salons, associations,
and to other parties within the beauty Industry.
